Account Creation: You do not need to create an account, sign up, or link any social media profiles to use ReadTrack. We do not have access to any of this content.
2. Local Data Storage All data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device's internal storage using secure Android platform mechanisms (SharedPreferences). Since this data is stored strictly on your local hardware, we do not maintain, host, or back up your data on any cloud servers. If you delete the App from your device, all of your saved books, progress indicators, goals, and reflections will be permanently deleted. This data cannot be recovered by us.
3. Permissions ReadTrack is designed to require zero dangerous or invasive Android device permissions. We do not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or external file storage directories. The App does not require active internet access to track your reading habits, construct visualization charts, or manage library categories.
4. Third-Party Services and Analytics To protect your digital footprint, the App does not integrate any third-party software development kits (SDKs) or services. No Advertising: The App is completely ad-free. No advertising networks are tracking your behavioral interests. No Analytics: We do not track user behavior or usage statistics using services like Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel.
5. Children’s Privacy Because our App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information from any user, it is fully safe for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or any other age group). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared personal information with us, please contact us immediately, though our offline architecture prevents any such transmission.
